Open Directory has approximately 35,000 Australian listings. Mantained by volunteers, which means that unlike the other directories, if your site is no good, it won't be listed. However, Open Directory is no longer the force it once was, dealing with reluctant moderators facing a mountain of spam. Consider it mothballed.

Founded in 1998, OzSearch once contained over 45,000 listings across 3,000 categories. It no longer exists.
