Amazon don't have an Australian web site yet, but they ship here - and they have many books not available in Australia. Plus, whenever the Aussie dollar rises against the greenback, Amazon's books become cheaper for us to buy...

SeekBooks discount every title, and they have 1.2 million in their database. The same results appear for searches at Angus & Robertson & Collins Booksellers.

Better discounts than SeekBooks are at Cokahama Books, and delivery costs are the same.

Or Booktopia which has flat-rate shipping of $6.95 for up to 100 books!

 BiblioOz - Used Books 

Biblioz is one of the top 3 used book search engines in the world, operated from Australia. It is excellent if you only wish to pay local postage for a used book. Of course eBay Australia is also a good place to look.


QBD The Bookshop (originally Queensland Book Depot) commenced operations in the late 1800's. Over the past 130 years QBD has had a number of owners, including the Uniting Church. QBD grew into the largest book chain in Queensland, currently with 14 stores. Save at least 10% off retail.
