Amazon don't have an Australian web site yet, but they ship here - and they have many books not available in Australia. Plus, whenever the Aussie dollar rises against the greenback, Amazon's books become cheaper for us to buy...

Usually the price will be a bit more than buying locally, but can sometimes be less. Use these to help make comparisons:

SeekBooks discount every title, and they have 1.2 million in their database. The same results appear for searches at Angus & Robertson, LeadingEdge & Collins Booksellers. - but not of these are discounted. Better discounts than SeekBooks are at Cokahama Books, and delivery costs are the same. Or Booktopia which has 10% off, and flat-rate shipping of $6.95 for up to 100 books!

QBD The Bookshop (originally Queensland Book Depot) commenced operations in the late 1800's. Over the past 130 years QBD has had a number of owners, including the Uniting Church. QBD grew into the largest book chain in Queensland, currently with 14 stores. Save at least 10% off retail.
